John Podhoretz - GOP Getting Scared

John Podhoretz, if you're not familiar with him, is a conservative blowhard who never, ever has anything nice to say about liberals and other people with common sense. He still doesn't in his most recent column. However, he does write about how the Republicans might be starting to feel vulnerable. Flawed as this column might be, the simple fact that he is worried means that the GOP might have cause to worry. The 2006 elections are a long way off yet, but take a look at what he says:
